Not exactly sauce, but you might enjoy this quick recipe:
6-8 dried tomatoes, cut into 1/8" strips
6-8 dried shiitake mushrooms, reconstituted (soak in cold water about 20
min), cut into 1/8" strips
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/4-1/2 tsp oregano, optional
Simply saute the red peppers for about 30 seconds, add the garlic, saute
30 sec more, add the tomatoes and mushrooms and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add the green onions and cook for another minute or two and season with salt
and black pepper to taste before tossing with pasta. Great quick meal for
summer!
